Research Analyst
Colleen McBride is a research analyst in the child welfare research area. Before joining Child Trends, she served as a research assistant at the Florida Institute for Child Welfare, where she worked on evaluations of kinship care programs, Florida’s early childhood court system, and the state’s independent living skills program. Previously, she served as a research assistant at the Educational Testing Service, where she contributed to research around disparities in higher education. Her research interests include early childhood, education policy, and socioeconomic mobility. She received a Master’s in sociology from George Washington University and earned her bachelor’s, also in sociology, from Bryn Mawr College.
